London - 14 year old summer jobs?

kay, so I live North West London and would really like to get a summer job since i;m not going holiday this year. I want a job that pays ok-ish. But the thing is if you suggest a job like a Paper round, do i just go to the closest place and say ;yea i would like that job;?
