TURNER FALLS, Experience a piece of Heaven on Earth!

Nestled in the Arbuckle Mountains, near Davis, Oklahoma, is a clear running stream unlike anything you have ever seen. It's beauty is breathless!

The water is so clear you can see all the rocks and waterlife that inhabit this wondrous place.

The bubbling stream, above the falls, called Honey Creekis an adventure to hike, but be sure to wear aqua shoes to avoid sharp rocks and moss covered rocks. There are places along the creek that have, what I call "mini falls" and you can slide down like a natural waterslide all along the creek.

At the end of Honey Creek lies a protected 70 foot waterfall that empties into a swimming lake where you can swim under the falls. There is a lovely picnic area and another stream to explore.
For the camper, there are great campsites and facilities close to each campsite for your gefort, where you may shower and change and purchase a snack or drink from one of the machines.
If you are not into camping, there are quaint cottages, restaurants, gift shops and a nice swimming area with waterslides where you can take the whole family for some swimming fun.

Just minutes from Turner Falls you will find Arbuckle Wilderness, a natural wildlife reserve. Here you can take the whole family for a drive through the park where you may feed wild animals such as zebras, giraffes, ostriches and observe many different wildlife in their natural habitat.

It is like an African safari in your own back yard.
Steve Irwin would have loved this place. I can just hear him say in that awesome Aussie accent, "Have a look at this beauty".
The Arbuckle Mountains are full of history. There are many deep caves you can explore, along great hiking trails, where such famous outlaws, like Jesse James and Billy the Kid once hid from the Texas Rangers.
It's true Indian country with unique hand carvings and Indian jewellry and crafts you will love.

At night, Turner Falls is lit up and when there is a full moon it is a magical array that is sure to bring wonder to your unforgettable experience.
In short, Turner Falls has something for everyone. I hope you will get to experience this place for yourself. Once you have seen Turner Falls, you will want to gee back for more.
I am well travelled and have been fortunate enough to see many wondrous places, including Niagara Falls, but Turner Falls is my favorite place in the world!
gee see for yourself!
