CLICK HERE FOR THE BEST DEALS ON KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTES
Keyless entry remote replacements for your car or truck can be found very easily on okay. There are just a couple simple things you should follow before bidding on and buying keyless remotes.
1. DoNOT buy a remote from a seller who uses generic stock photos to promotean item that will look nothing like what you will receive
This is an attempt to lure you into buying the remote without reading the entire fine print in their auctions. If the price seems really low then read the entire description word for word and look to see if they are using a picture of the condition of the actual remote for sale or a stock file photo of what the remote would look like if not worn. If you don't do that what you will end up with is an ugly remote that looks nothing like the picture. Make sure the remotes condition is CLEARLY described in the main text and not hidden away the desription.
2. Always check with your dealer or match the numbers with your current remote.
The numbers on most remotes can be found on the backside of the remote. Many cars use different remotes depending on what system was put on it, i.e. factory, dealer installed, port installed, or aftermarket and some same year same model cars use different model remotes depending on when the car went down the assembly line. Do not just assume that because the seller has listed your year and model that this remote will work for your car. Any seller telling you that these numbers do not matter is wrong and is just trying to steer you in the wrong direction.Noseller can be sure which system is installed in your car.If you just purchased your vehicle and are unsure if you have keyless entry installed then you should check with your local dealers parts department. They can tell if you have factory or dealer installed keyless entry installed.
3. Programming can be found at numerous places on the web, most remotes can be programmed by the customer but others require a trip to the dealership or a qualified locksmith to program because a special tool is needed.
You should always check on this first before bidding or buying.
If you wish to ask me if a certain remote can be programmed just email me and I will pass the information on to you free of charge.
4. Beware of anyone selling any used late model 5 button Volvo remotes or Mercedes Benz Smart key remotes who say these can be programmed.
They can not, call any Volvo or MB dealer and see for yourself. If you see a remote you need and want to check on the real honesty of the seller, search that sellers inventory to see if he is selling any of these types of remotes. If he is then he is definately not an honest seller and is misleading customers. Most of the respectable sellers will not sell these individually because they are honest but a few of the really big sellers will sell these types of remotes claiming they heard you can program them. The question you have to ask is that if they are really professional and honest why don't they know this then for sure.
5. Enjoy your newCAR, TRUCK,SUV or VAN purchase.
Maybe you are just looking for an extra remote for your car or truck or maybe you just purchased your new vehicle and it didn't gee with any remotes or just came with one. Well you should be able to enjoy that purchase by getting treated fairly and with respect, nothing is worse than getting your new car and then have people trying to rip you off by misleading you. Ask questions to the sellers and please read the entire auctions description. Don't let anyone ruin your new car.
