What is Dimple Tech used by Quest AT Disc Golf

"Dimple Tech" byQuest ATis a technology used on disc golf discs to increase stability and glide, translating to better distance. There a couple gepanies that use the idea but theapproachis not the same. Questdimples are about the size of dimples on golf ball, it is well known that a dimpled gold ball goes further than a perfectly rounded one, no doubt this was the inspiration forQuest. Basically, the dimples createturbulencein the air as the disc is flying, which reduces drag on the disc. Think of a jetski goingacrossa lake, the driver has the throttle all the way out but cant go faster than 50mph. Now, take that same jetski and have him follow a boat, right behind the stern and suddenly he can go 60. This is because the boat is breaking the surface of the water so there is less drag for the jetski, making it easier to move through the water. Not a perfect analogy but it helps me picture it.
